This Sako A III long action is extensively reworked, featuring:

• Ed LaPour 3-position, side-swing (M-70 style) safety
• 2-panel checkered bolt handle, built out from the action, and styled like the much-loved Mauser 98
• Sako dovetails converted for Talley rings, with aperture sight built into rear base
• Restyled rear tang for more graceful pistol grip section of stock
• One piece bottom metal with inside-bow floorplate release
• Action left sidewall extended to bolt shroud for appearance and gas protection
